About the team at Dominion Equine
The human element behind the success of Dominion Equine comprises Glenn and Belinda Geissler. Glenn and Belinda met while they were studying at the University of Queensland in Brisbane, Qld in the early 1990's. Both graduated from their respective degrees in Veterinary Science and Agricultural Science in 1995. They have since lived and worked in various locations around Australia before moving to the outskirts of Brisbane in 2001 to be closer to the hub of horse activities in Australia.
Dominion Show Horses is the showing and breeding division of "Dominion Equine Services". Dominion Equine Services was founded in 2000 by Belinda & Glenn with the aim of utilising their abilities to provide veterinary and equine management services to the public.
Dominion Show Horses is located in the heart of horse country about 60km south of Brisbane and approx 10km north of Beaudesert. The 40 acre property is being developed to accommodate the breeding and showing operations of Dominion Show Horses as well as the breeding services and equine management offered by Dominion Equine Services.
Glenn Geissler - BVSc
Glenn originates from a small town called Biggenden in South East Queensland where his family continues to raise and produce beef cattle. Glenn spent his childhood using horses as a tool for mustering cattle. He was quite amused when he first met Belinda and she introduced him to the idea of riding and haltering horses "just for fun"!

Glenn manages all of reproductive and veterinary work here at Dominion. He also oversees the management, preparation and exhibition of our halter horses.
Glenn has a great eye for conformation and is dedicated to maintaining form to function in the Dominion horses.
Belinda Geissler - BAgrSc (Hons I), BEd
Belinda originates from a small town in far north Queensland called Innisfail. Her family still reside there and have been actively breeding stud brahman cattle and growing pawpaws until just recently. Belinda has had a great passion for all things equine since her earliest years. Her father still has vivid memories of walking miles and miles leading his daughter on her pony when her legs were barely long enough to sit astride!

Belinda manages the nutritional requirements of the Dominion horses, developing customised rations for each individual horse.
Belinda also oversees the management, preparation and training of our ridden horses.
The Other Members of the Dominion Equine "Family"
A summary of the Dominion "family" would not be complete without mentioning our other children. We are great lovers of Dalmatian dogs and have 2 (Roley and Bonnie) that we dote on. Prior to expanding our horse activities we were active members of the Dalmatian Club of Queensland. Although not breeders of Dalmatians, we used to train and compete in dog obedience trials.
The other members of the family include 2 cats - one an overweight, diabetic Russian Blue, and the other an "under-the doona" lilac Burmese. Cat lovers among you will understand what is meant by "under-the doona" for sure!!!
Last but not least are the chooks. They are an integral part of our pasture management with the added bonus of laying a few eggs. Oh - and they come with spots too!!
