The 2013 NPHA has just come to completion and we couldn’t be prouder of all of our “kids”.  While we couldn’t be there ourselves this year, our breeding programme was very well represented.

I Like That a 3yo gelding owned by Claire Geri and ridden by Travis Humphries of TNT Training Stables took out the win in the Di Candilo $10,000 3yo Western Pleasure Futurity. “Riley” was the Reserve Champion in the $20,000 2yo WP Futurity in 2012, so it was great to back it up with a win this year. “Riley” also took his owner Claire to a 5th placing in the Ltd Amateur Western Pleasure Stakes.

Cee The Sensation had yet another stellar NPHA year winning the Youth Hunter Under Saddle Stakes and reserve champion in the Youth Western Pleasure Stakes along with many other placings for his rider Ashley Van Den Bogert.

Hot Roadster Grrrl has a new owner this year and continued turning heads as she was piloted brilliantly by Brianna to 3rd place in the Youth Western Pleasure Stakes, a 2nd in the Senior Youth Western Horsemanship and also the Senior Youth Western Pleasure.

Barbra Krysand and her owner Ruby Macarthur had an extremely successful show winning the Junior Youth Western Pleasure, Hunter Under Saddle, Western Horsemanship and Hunt Seat Equitation. They also took home the buckle for High Point Junior Youth. The future is very bright for this combination indeed.

No The Sensation owned by Simone Robinson also performed brilliantly, taking out the wins in the 2yo Western Pleasure class and also the Ltd 2yo Western Pleasure with Kelby Hutchinson the rider for TNT Training Stables.

We must also extend our congratulations to the Hupp family (Real Deal Performance Paints from NSW) who bred and own the winner of the Jayes Park $20,000 2yo Western Pleasure Futurity. The paint-bred mare RD Ten Times Hotter by Blazing Hot out of a Loots Image mare has been a stand-out performer in the 2yo classes all year and it is just so exciting to see a paint horse take out the holy grail of western pleasure in this country. Hupps also had another paint 2yo make the final of the 2yo futurity RD Queen High Special (by Zippos Sensation) who placed a commendable 9th overall. A huge congratulations also to Rockin Horse Ranch who trained and campaigned these horses for the Hupps.

Just cruised around the new website, it looks great! Thanks for the cudo’s on Riley, to say i am proud of him is an understatement, he has been the horse that made dreams come true. Riley is a real credit to your breeding program, thanks for selling him to me.
